The Uxbridge Zoning Board of Appeals on Monday voted to grant a special permit allowing a front addition at 117 Old Millville Road, finding the extension would not be substantially more detrimental to the neighborhood.
Rob, a Zoning Board member who moved the motion, said the board could apply the lesser standard for preexisting nonconforming structures under the town bylaw and that the application met that standard. "Such extension is not substantially more detrimental than the existing nonconforming structure to the neighborhood," Rob said while moving the permit.
