The Select Board voted July 28 to release the surety fund held for completion of public improvements for the Peter Street subdivision extension after planning staff and town counsel were able to locate and notify the insured parties and confirm the work. The planning update said about $30,000 in surety remained and that certified notices were sent to the last known owner before staff recommended withdrawal for the town to complete outstanding items.
Selectman Plasco moved to release the surety; Selectman Wise seconded and the motion passed on a roll call vote.
Next step: staff will administratively process the release and document final acceptance of the subdivision extension in the next meeting packet.
