Board finds district in compliance with OE‑13 facilities monitoring report

The Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District board accepted the CEO monitoring report OE‑13 on facilities and subsequently voted that the district is in compliance across the policy's eight indicators, trustees said Tuesday.
Chad Trowbridge, who presented the facilities monitoring report, said the district met indicators covering safety and maintenance, renovation prioritization, life-cycle cost projections, use and guidelines for facilities, emergency protections, land acquisition processes, decisions on building/renovation and construction schedule/change-order procedures. He also noted an updated master facility plan and that while some major improvements remain necessary, no major capital referendums are currently planned.
A motion to accept the OE‑13 monitoring report was moved by a trustee identified as Fuhrer, seconded and approved by voice vote. The board later moved and approved a procedural finding that the district is in compliance with OE‑13, also by voice vote.
Trustees asked that the master facility plan continue to guide future capital budgeting and that the district monitor surrounding property availability as part of long-range planning.
