Pewaukee council advances road‑rehab projects and finalizes several engineer reports

Staff then reviewed Wethersfield/Weathersfield subdivision road rehab (PASER rating 4), confirmed design dollars for 2025 and construction anticipated for 2026, and requested authorization to exercise special assessments and a comfort resolution for future borrowing. Council moved, seconded and approved the preliminary resolution to pursue special assessments.
The council also accepted final engineers' reports and moved to levy final assessments for Meadowbrook (phase 2) and Roundy's Industrial Park Phase 2 after project closeout and completion of punch lists. Staff said supply‑chain delays affected the Roundy's project during the pandemic but that final closeout paperwork is now complete.
Next steps: staff will continue design and administrative processing, return with assessment schedules and finalize borrowing as needed.
