Jared, a staff member who presented the item, described the request as a standard renewal of the county landfill’s discharge permit and said there were no substantive changes from the prior permit. "So this is a renewal of their every 5 year, discharge permit," he said. The Board had no questions and approved the renewal on a motion by Director Gallagher and a second by Council President Dickinson.
No additional conditions or changes to the permit were stated in the meeting record.
