Outdoor-lighting presentation postponed after presenter’s connection fails

A presentation on outdoor-lighting and dark‑sky initiatives set for the Sept. 3 Neighborhood Revitalization Commission meeting was postponed after the remote presenter experienced repeated audio dropouts.
Tim (deputy director) introduced Scott Lynn of Redshift Electric and the Kickapoo Valley, noting the presentation was intended to inform the commission’s discussion of a proposed lighting ordinance. Scott’s audio connection repeatedly cut out; he apologized and suggested rescheduling. "If I'm still cutting it out, we'll have to reschedule this, but let's see how it works," Scott said before the commission agreed to postpone and seek an in‑person presentation.
Tim said staff would work with Scott to reschedule, tentatively discussing an October 1 meeting date but noting that final scheduling depends on the presenter’s availability. The commission planned to take up the lighting presentation at a future meeting when a full presentation could be delivered in a stable format.
