At the May 7 meeting the Uxbridge Planning Board moved to approve the April 9 meeting minutes by voice vote and discussed several internal procedural matters before adjourning.
A member moved to accept the minutes from April 9, the motion carried on a voice vote and the minutes were approved. Board members then debated whether applicants, project personnel and consultants should be required to attend in person for presentations; several members said they strongly favor in‑person attendance for clarity and respect, though others noted peer reviewers may attend remotely for logistical reasons.
The board also discussed a dispute over whether a Tabor Road repair had been infrared‑repaired as previously reported to the Board of Selectmen. Members said photographs taken the same day showed the repair had not been done with infrared equipment; the board asked staff to request a bill and photos from the contractor and to notify the Selectmen. One board member suggested removing a prior recommendation at town meeting if the repair had not been completed as represented.
The board set its next meeting for May 14, 2025 at 6 p.m., then moved and approved adjournment.
