Summary
A peer‑reviewed sound study for a proposed energy storage facility at 374 Hazel Street found projected sound levels would comply with MassDEP guidance if a sealed L‑shaped barrier and other mitigations are installed; the planning board continued the public hearing to May 14 to review revised plans, distances and mitigation details.
The Uxbridge Planning Board on May 7 heard a technical presentation and peer review of a sound study for a proposed energy storage facility at 374 Hazel Street and voted to continue the public hearing to May 14 at 6 p.m. while requiring the applicant to supply additional materials.
