Because the substitute motion to table was nondebatable, the committee conducted a roll-call vote. The clerk read results that included several proxy votes; the final tally was 11 yes, 10 no, so the substitute motion to table passed and HB 236 was placed back in members' folders.
The chair closed executive action and the committee adjourned.
