Committee hears resolution urging university system support for collegiate shooting sports

A deputy from the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education said the commissioner’s office is seeing growing student interest and the resolution would help campuses study and organize possible club or competitive opportunities across the 16‑unit system. The committee closed the hearing on SJR 7 after questions about timelines and the Board of Regents process.
