Steamboat Springs School Board adopts revised GP 19 meetings policy

The Steamboat Springs School Board unanimously adopted a revised General Policy 19 (school board meetings) on Sept. 22 during the regular business meeting.

Trustee Laura moved adoption on second reading and Trustee Cresta seconded the motion. Deb Genesta called the roll; trustees Cresta, Kevin, Laura, Leah and President Katie Lee were recorded as voting in favor. No substantive discussion or amendments were recorded during the meeting.

The revised policy was presented as the single action item on the agenda; the board completed the vote and then moved on to board member updates and other business. The board packet lists the policy as GP 19 (school board meetings) and the board instructed staff to publish the updated policy in board materials.
