The board also approved financial housekeeping measures: a transfer to the general fund totaling $1,598,006.89 (annual purging of named accounts), a $93,300 transfer to the workforce bank account to cover Department of Labor grant outlays (to be reimbursed by the grant), and transfers totaling $1,910,852.47 to clean up accounts before the 2025 audit. Board members approved each transfer by motion and voice vote.
Additionally, the tax assessor’s office asked to hire Sherrick Coleman as deputy tax assessor (part‑time at $17.38 per hour effective 9/17/2025, transferring to full time 10/06/2025 at an annualized rate stated in the record); the board approved the hire.
