Rhodes highlighted core services including foreclosure‑prevention counseling (HUD‑certified counselors provide free services) and holiday assistance programs, and described newer initiatives: an older‑adult home modification program to help seniors remain in their homes and a veteran 'transition in place' program where the center leases apartments and sublets to veterans while providing case management over nine months to a year.
She said the center has tracked repair or rebuilding for 993 homes in Hancock County (totaling roughly $24,000,000 in project value) and detailed volunteer-hours tracking. Rhodes asked whether the board had any questions and thanked members for their support; no board action was required.
