County staff introduces CivicPlus portal to centralize agendas, packets and meeting media

County staff introduced the CivicPlus board portal at the Sept. 17 Pueblo County Planning Commission meeting as the county’s new centralized system for agendas, packets, attachments and meeting media.

Ruth (last name given as Zellstra) walked commissioners through the login process, how to download agendas and packet attachments, and the public portal that will host recorded meeting videos with time stamps. "Because we switched over to Civic Plus, for the for you to access the items for your meetings from now on," she said, and demonstrated where members will enter email addresses and passwords to access packets and previous meeting minutes.

Staff said the Board of County Commissioners already uses the platform and that Planning staff will continue to post materials to Dropbox temporarily while members transition. Video uploads to the portal are expected within a couple of days after meetings, and staff offered direct assistance with password resets and account setup.

Commissioners asked about timing and device compatibility; staff replied the portal is accessible from any device and that administrative staff can reset passwords or help members in person if they do not receive the CivicPlus invitation email. The county will maintain a public portal for residents to access meeting materials and recordings.

The presentation was informational; there were no votes. Chair Arco closed the presentation and the meeting proceeded to other committee reports.
