Speaker 2 reviewed edits to the 2025–26 district scorecard and recommended approval of seven district goals; building‑level goals tied to school safety and culture (behavior incident reduction and referrals) remain at the school level rather than added as new district goals. Speaker 5 moved to approve the 2025–26 scorecard; Speaker 8 seconded and the motion carried on a roll call.
The board also considered the annual meeting agenda and confirmed required public posting; Speaker 8 asked whether state lawmakers would be invited to the annual meeting and the board confirmed they will be invited. Speaker 5 moved to approve the annual meeting agenda as presented in agenda item 4.3 and the motion passed.
On personnel, Speaker 2 recommended approval of lead personnel/teacher appointments to allow hiring to proceed; Speaker 5 moved to approve the appointments as presented in agenda item 4.4 and the board approved the motion.
No substantive amendments were made to the scorecard at this meeting; staff will post the annual meeting agenda as required by state law and continue onboarding new teachers ahead of the school year.
