The Greendale School Board approved the district's annual Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) membership agreement for the 2025–26 school year, a staff recommendation the board voted to accept at the meeting.
Speaker 2 explained that the annual agreement (called CECL/CISA in the staff report) includes a membership fee of $1,800 and access to services that are provided directly to students, including Project Success Parkway and an educational audiologist, services the district said would be cost-prohibitive to provide in-house.
Speaker 10 moved to approve the agreement as agenda item 3.3; Speaker 5 seconded. The board took a roll-call vote and approved the motion.
District staff said the membership allows the district to access specialized student services and supports without hiring full-time staff for each specialized role.
Next steps: The membership will continue for the 2025–26 school year and the district will access services as needed through the agency.
