Speaker 10 moved to approve the 2025–26 lunch prices as outlined in agenda item 3.2; Speaker 5 seconded. The board conducted a roll-call vote with all responding yes and the motion passed.
Board members said the increases aim to preserve program sustainability while keeping price changes modest. Speaker 10 thanked staff for the analysis and noted the importance of balancing affordability and fiscal responsibility.
The price changes follow a review using the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) tool and a staff assessment of a la carte items and reserves. District staff said reserves will be used in the short term as they continue work to close the remaining deficit.
