The Milton School District Board approved routine consent items at its Sept. 22 meeting, including general checking account vouchers totaling $327,395.33, minutes from the Sept. 8 regular meeting, a staffing report and several gifts and donations. "I move to approve general checking account vouchers totaling $327,395.33 as presented," Tracy said; Rick seconded and the board voted in favor.
The board also approved the staffing report and accepted a group of gifts and donations. John moved to approve the gifts and donations; Rick seconded. A board member asked about a new sign listed as “Schilberg Park sign,” and the superintendent said Family and Friends of Sjoberg Park donated just under $11,000 in honor of Faye Sjoberg to replace a worn entrance sign.
All consent motions were approved by voice vote and the chair declared each motion carried. The approvals were handled during the meeting’s consent and miscellaneous items and required no further action.
