Court proclaims Recovery Month, honors Amos Greenhouse; accepts departmental reports

The court also accepted reports from multiple departments: code enforcement/solid waste (six code violations in August; a county tire-collection event co-sponsored by the State Division of Waste Management to be held at the State Road Garage on US-23 in Lloyd), public safety (two probationary hires left during training; conference takeaways), emergency management (work on DR-4848 and DR-4864; a recovery scoping meeting scheduled for Sept. 11 at 10 a.m.), ambulance services (625 transports in August and 5,849 year-to-date 911 responses) and the county library (annual statistics, 83,041 visitors, 170,327 circulations; splash pad approvals complete, expected to open next spring).
Most reports were accepted by motion and voice vote. The court did not read into the record any new ordinances or binding legal requirements in these items; many were informational updates or ceremonial recognitions.
