Unidentified Speaker 4 reported net receipts of $962.48 and payroll of $64,866.19. The court approved the minutes from Aug. 8, approved accounts payable and accepted staff reports that the July financials had been reconciled. Unidentified Speaker 5 proposed transfers including $20,000 from general funds to the solid waste account to cover current bills and payroll and about $1,000 to LWCF to temporarily fund soccer until state funds arrive; the court approved transfers and the accounts-payable motion by voice vote.
Unidentified Speaker 1 asked the court to approve a recurring $1,000 sponsorship of the Southwest Kentucky EDC Industry Appreciation Luncheon; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. Speaker 1 also reported attending an opioid-settlement session and proposed forming a county committee to recommend how to spend settlement funds, suggesting geographic representation across county communities and participation from the health department and jail; he said he will circulate proposed membership prior to the Sept. 12 meeting.
