The Planning Advisory Board on Aug. 12 recommended that the City Commission approve the annexation of Lot 4A, Block 7, University Addition (1420 Seventeenth Avenue Southwest) and establish R-3 single-family high-density zoning for the property.
Assistant city planner Kayla Crisco told the board the property is a single-family residence on about 0.34 acres and that "the Bosos are requesting annexation in order to connect to city water and sanitary sewer services available in the Seventeenth Avenue Southwest right of way." She said state law requires annexations to include adjacent public right-of-way, so a portion of Eighteenth Alley Southwest is included in the request.
