Planning staff presented a family-transfer exemption request from Luke and Shanna Stratford to create a roughly 1.8-acre parcel to be gifted to their daughter, Lucy Stratford, from a 20.32-acre parent parcel at 1001 Zechariah Lane in Bozeman. After the applicant was sworn and testified that the parcel would be used for a future primary residence and that there was no intent to sell the remainder, a commissioner moved to adopt staff findings and approve the exemption; the motion carried.
Later in the meeting, staff presented the Florence View Minor Subdivision final-platted documents (preliminary approval given Oct. 22, 2024) that subdivide a 105.131-acre parcel into five single-family lots. Staff recommended, and the commission adopted, resolutions to accept public-dedication of West Davis Road and a 45-foot Penwell Bridge Road easement as part of final plat approval; commissioners found submitted conditions met and granted final plat approval.
