The Menomonee Falls Planning Commission unanimously recommended Aug. 5 that the Village Board approve the final plat for Fox River Falls Addition No. 3, a planned-residential development phase comprising 14 lots north of existing approved parcels.
Planner Amy Bennett told the commission the plat is consistent with the preliminary approval and PRD ordinance; staff recommended approval subject to 14 village staff conditions, nine Waukesha County conditions and any requirements from the Wisconsin Department of Administration. Commissioners asked whether waterways shown on the plat were protected; staff said that if wetlands are delineated as wetlands they will be protected under DNR rules and that the traffic impact analysis and wetland delineation are included in the staff packet for review.
Commissioner Chris Rollins moved that the Planning Commission recommend approval to the Village Board; the motion was seconded and passed without opposition. The recommendation will be forwarded to the Village Board for consideration at a future meeting.
