Council clears Catch Fitness conditional use for retail center in Pewaukee

The Pewaukee Common Council on Aug. 4 approved a conditional-use permit for Catch Fitness, a proposed physical fitness facility at Pewaukee Retail Partners.
City staff told the council the tenant space is about 4,783 square feet and that a portion of the space had previously been used for fitness activities. Staff recommended approval and said it did not anticipate adverse impacts to the property or surrounding area; the Plan Commission also recommended approval.
Staff described the proposed hours as Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A council member moved for approval, a second was recorded, and the council voice-voted in favor.
The approval allows the applicant to proceed with conditions outlined in the staff report and any plan-review steps required by building and zoning departments.
