Councilmember speaker 4 moved to approve the rezoning as AG limited use, with limitations to allow raised‑bed gardens, hoop houses and a produce sales stand for weekend sales to the public; the motion was seconded and carried. Council members clarified that the limited‑use designation does not automatically restrict organic practices but would limit the allowable activities and that the applicant may need to address proximity to a nearby water treatment facility and well placement.
The rezoning includes conditions intended to protect adjacent uses and to limit operations to the uses described in the motion. The council recorded the motion as carried and thanked the applicant and planning commission for their work.
