The representative also described related activities: a revised 'no-bells' dispatch procedure was being circulated with fire chiefs for final agreement, and staff plans to coordinate with the dispatch director to finalize who is paged and how many units respond to calls. The official said the county also met with the American Red Cross to review shelter capabilities and suitability.
