Novi council approves several contracts, trail license and property sale; votes at a glance

- Engineering services agreement to OHM Advisors for preparation of a water system master plan in the amount of $140,700. Motion approved 6–0.
- License agreement with ITC for construction of a non-motorized pathway connecting the existing ITC Trail to Bosco Fields Park; council discussed timing and state (MDOT) standards for a boardwalk that can support emergency access; construction is expected in 2026 and grant adjustments from CECG were noted. Motion approved 6–0.
- Purchase agreement to sell a just-over-one-acre city parcel on the west side of Venture Drive to Bull Filter Corporation for the appraised value of $300,000; staff said proceeds will help pay for a new fire station site on the east side. Motion approved 6–0.
Each contract and the sale were presented by city staff with limited discussion; motions passed by roll-call votes with unanimous approval among present members.
