Oak Park honors General Foreman Ray Krayjewski after 25 years in public works

City Manager Eric Tungate and Deputy City Manager Dave DeCoster praised Krayjewski's long service across multiple roles, including water-system work, night plowing, wood shop leadership, street-division foreman duties, building maintenance, parks and forestry, and special projects. Tungate said the mayor, council and administration wish to "express their sincere appreciation" for Krayjewski's "distinguished public service and lasting contributions to the city of Oak Park." DeCoster asked residents to wish Krayjewski luck; staff noted his last day was the coming Monday.
The council presented prepared remarks and invited acknowledgments from members and staff. No formal action or budgetary items were tied to the recognition.
