Consultants from firm Barry Dunn introduced themselves to the Laramie City Council and said they have begun a sports-facility study for the city, emphasizing community engagement and coordination with city staff.
Nikki Ginger of Barry Dunn introduced the team: "My name is Nikki Ginger, and I'm with a firm called Barry Dunn... One of our components, the most essential part, is making sure that we get a lot of community engagement," she said, noting the team would coordinate with city staff and use a prior BRS assessment of the recreation center as a baseline.
Director Bork introduced the consultants and said the city looks forward to public input. The consultants said they would answer questions but kept the introduction brief so the council could proceed with the regular agenda.
Staff did not provide a schedule or budget for the study during the brief introduction; councilors and staff indicated further coordination would follow.
