West Bend council adopts 2026 budgets for multiple TIDs, including depot and museum districts

Highlights from the presentation included: TID 3 (near the airport) with anticipated revenue/expenses around $751,000 and a remaining balance for utilities and the general fund; TID 4 (area by Walmart) estimated at about $1.6 million and sharing increment with TID 5; TID 5 (Depot area) anticipated near $1.0 million and receiving roughly $712,000 in shared increment from TID 4; TID 9 (museum area) anticipated revenue/expenses of about $1.9 million and owing approximately $1.4 million to the general fund by year end; and TID 12 (Veil area) with revenue/expenses near $1.8 million. Staff also noted TID 7 (industrial district) is in the process of closing.
After the presentation, an alderman moved to approve the TID budgets, the motion was seconded and the council approved the budgets by voice vote. The approved budgets, maps and supporting documents are in the meeting packet.
