She said the food box had an estimated value of $67.38, up from $53.63 last year, and that 27 volunteers worked roughly 90 man‑hours to complete the distribution in about an hour and seven minutes.
Councilmembers thanked pantry volunteers and local churches and organizations that contributed. One councilmember noted the approximate $17,000 value of the donated food, and Cooley said the community’s support and extra volunteers made the extended distribution possible.
Cooley’s remarks were delivered during the public‑comment portion of the meeting; no council action was required or taken on the item.
