Riley (town staff) reported a small number of HVAC permits issued in November and agreed to circulate information to residents about holiday street closures. Commissioners and staff discussed community events planned for the weekend of Dec. 6, including "Christmas in Newburgh," a house tour and a parade; the plan calls for closing Water Street and parts of Jennings in the afternoon to stage parade entries and to notify affected residents by email and town notice.
The commission did not take formal action on the parking study at this meeting; members asked staff to prepare the materials and place the item on the January agenda for more detailed review.
