Franklin County clerk urges residents to sign free deed-notification service

Gundy said the vendor supports many counties (she noted roughly 82–83 counties are on the vendor's list) but not every county; property owners must register per county where they have an interest. "If they're not on there, then it does not cover it," she said, noting residents would need to contact other county clerks to enroll for properties outside Franklin County. Gundy offered office assistance and encouraged use of the QR code to simplify registration.
Next steps: The court agreed staff can share the sign-up link on the county's website and social media. The clerk's office will continue to help residents who call or come into the deed room to register for the notification service.
