Greenup County accepts health department budget and launches free school dental program

The program will provide cleanings and preventive care; Grama said Medicaid will be billed where appropriate but “anyone who has insurance will not be turned away” and “anyone who does not have insurance will not be turned away.” The health department identified dental care and transportation as top needs in a recent community needs assessment and said the dental program is part of a five‑year strategic plan to improve health outcomes.
