The commenter told the court that Fleming County had recently passed a similar non-support resolution and urged Rowan County to follow that example. She estimated about 270 property owners could be affected and referred to several past local pipeline incidents while urging a transition to renewable energy.
The court did not take immediate action during the public comment period; the request was recorded for potential consideration. No county action to draft or adopt a resolution was announced during the meeting.
