Ballard County fiscal court proclaims day to honor Philip Morris for decades of service

The Ballard County Fiscal Court read a resolution recognizing Lovelaceville resident Philip Morris for his long service to the county. The resolution noted Morris’ more than 54 years with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and more than 40 years as a fire chief in Lovelaceville and nearby communities, and declared a day in Ballard County to honor his service.
Court members presented Morris with a token of appreciation and invited him to speak; colleagues thanked him for partnership with the sheriff’s and judge’s offices and for his years of public service.
