Tax Assessor Diane Duvall presented the county’s 2025 real and personal property assessment rolls and accompanying analysis at the July 7 meeting. Duvall said the real property role was prepared by contractor PMA and that personal property assessment increases were driven largely by Port Gibson Energy and a lumber company, producing a net variance increase.
Duvall submitted a formal letter of valuation and an assessment analysis for the board’s equalization and requested the board accept the roll for public inspection. The board moved to accept the roll and voted to authorize advertising notice to taxpayers that the roles are equalized and available for review in the chancery clerk’s office.
Duvall told the board she will provide a revised analysis after in‑house processing of additional items is complete.
