Teresa, speaking for staff, said the amount was an invoice paid to 4 Rivers for a grader that had been rented and later purchased. “That amount, $141,000, is for an invoice we paid to 4 Rivers for a grader that we had previously rented and then purchased,” Teresa said.
Commenters also said a prior financial sheet appeared to show the county charging Pueblo West about $100,000 a month for storage in the first three months of the year; speakers described that figure as excessive and asked for a clearer breakdown. Staff replied that some detailed information appeared in the first-quarter reports and that they would verify and post supporting documents online.
Staff announced plans to redesign the transparency page on the county website to make published reports and road lists easier to find and said the annual 2022 report (photos and revenue details) had been returned to the county. Staff thanked employees and volunteers who contributed materials and said the transparency improvements should be available when the redesigned site launches.
