Jarvis described how sponsorship funds would be used to underwrite program costs and provide one full and one partial scholarship so lower-income non-profits and small businesses could participate; she estimated tuition at $1,500 per participant for the nine-month program. She asked council to refer the sponsorship request to the city manager to determine budget fit and next steps.
City staff said they would route the request to the city manager for further review.
