The council approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Mayor Pro Tem Gavin with support from Council member Baker. The consent agenda passed by roll call and included approval of minutes from the May 19, 2025 meeting, a surplus property declaration, a SIMCOG planning grant application for Coolidge Highway, and a second reading amendment to a planned unit development for multiple-family development on the east side of Coolidge Highway and nearby streets.
Motion M4325 authorized a dedication ceremony for former Mayor Mabelle Frasier and the purchase of a $1,060 plaque for the city gazebo; Council member Patterson moved the item with support from Council member Belani and the motion passed by roll call. The Berkeley Historical Museum will coordinate an exhibit to coincide with the dedication; a July date was discussed but not finalized.
Council member Patterson moved to adjourn at the close of business; the motion was seconded by Council member Vilani and the roll call vote carried, and Mayor Bridget Dean declared the meeting adjourned.
