Staff reported that following bid submissions and subsequent revisions the recommended contract amount is $3,644,249.50; the commission authorized award with a 10 percent construction contingency for a total not to exceed $4,008,674.45, subject to execution of required insurance and bonds.
Funding was identified across the major street fund, sidewalk gap closure account, water and sewer funds; the commission approved associated budget amendments for sewer and water funds as part of the contract authorization.
