The motion passed by voice vote; the record notes a 3–0 vote in favor at the time of passage. Commissioners also instructed staff to place vacatur of older attorney-office policy resolutions on a future agenda to eliminate conflicting documents.
The commission did not adopt changes to organizational structure; the incoming county attorney had signaled intentions to propose staffing modifications after the election, and commissioners left that item for separate discussion.
