Procurement staff and council members agreed the next step is to form an interview committee to conduct follow‑up interviews with proposer teams to evaluate qualifications and approaches; Karen Garrity (partner organization) and a representative from the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development (James Dugan) were named as participants. The committee hopes to interview firms next week and return to council on Feb. 27 with a recommendation.
Council discussed bid evaluation criteria and the need to verify that each proposal met RFP specifications before making an award. No contract award was made at the meeting; the procurement process will continue with interviews and scoring.
