Commission approves Spanish Fork partnership, authorizes consultant contract conditional on COVID fund rules, and schedules closed sessions

Commissioners voiced concern that an ineligible expense could not be charged to the federal grant and said contract language addresses that contingency.
The board voted to hold closed sessions on specified items (items 15, 16 and 17) to discuss professional confidence and the purchase or lease of real property; it also struck regular agenda item 18. After the closed meetings the board returned to open session, un-tabled items 2 and 9, continued item 2 to the next meeting, struck item 9 from the published agenda, and adjourned. All recorded motions referenced in these actions carried 3–0.
