County authorizes attorney to file cross appeals in centrally assessed property cases

Paul Jones said his office would "enter appeals by filing a cross appeal for Cellco Partners doing business as Verizon, Intermountain Power Agency, AT and T Communications, AT and T Mobility, Sprint Corporation, and Level 3 Communications." He said county counsel would submit the filings to the state tax commission on the county's behalf.
A motion to adopt the proposed resolution and enter the appeals passed 3-0.
No further discussion or amendments were recorded on the record; staff will proceed with filing the cross appeals as authorized.
