County directs negotiations, awards Emergency Watershed Protection contract to JUB Jones DeMille

Speaker 2 moved to receive the committee’s recommendation, direct negotiations, and award the contract to JUB Jones DeMille; Speaker 1 seconded and the motion passed by voice vote, 3–0 (SEG 520–532). The commission recorded the recommendation and directed staff to negotiate the contract with the top-ranked firm.
What happens next: Staff will begin contract negotiations with JUB Jones DeMille consistent with the evaluation committee ranking. Contract terms, cost, and schedule will return to the commission or procurement office per county contract procedures.
