During the meeting commissioners cleared a slate of consent and administrative items and received staff recommendations on vendor selections.
On consent the commission approved a change order authorization (consent item 10) and an agreement with Diamond Bar Explosive Services for various site projects (consent item 13). The commission continued one consent item (item 8) for one week to confirm funding account numbers. All consent actions carried by voice vote.
The commission received the recommending committee’s top choice for polygraph services (Intermountain Polygraph) and ratified a media production location agreement with Lucky 8 TV subject to insertion of the actual interview dates and times into the contract. Commissioners also discussed insurance requirements for a Shark Tank exhibit at the county fair and approved the contract after staff explained the county’s umbrella/coverage requirements.
Finally, the commission set three closed‑session meetings to discuss purchase/exchange/lease of property and water rights, personnel matters and pending or reasonably imminent litigation; commissioners approved scheduling those sessions by unanimous votes.
Votes recorded at the meeting were routinely 3–0 unless noted; staff will incorporate minor edits or dates into the approved location and production agreements and will return requested follow‑up information to the commission.
