Commission ratifies multiple consent items: VOCA grant ratified and grant-funded addiction specialist approved

On the regular agenda the panel approved a grant‑funded full‑time career position for the Department of Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Treatment to support an addictionologist, funded through the federal STR block grant; Human Resources confirmed the position is grant‑funded for at least three years.
All motions on these consent and regular items passed by voice vote, 3–0. Commissioners noted staff will return required written findings and that most grant funds are federally provided.
