At its regular meeting, the Creve Coeur City Council voted unanimously to adopt two ordinances and to authorize two public-works contracts.
On final reading the council adopted Bill 6133, amending the adopted 2024 general fund, enterprise fund and sewer lateral fund budgets to transfer appropriations and authorize additional spending. The motion passed on roll-call with all recorded votes in the affirmative.
The council also adopted Bill 6134, an amendment to the city’s open meetings and records ordinance, on final reading. Council members offered no public comments before the unanimous vote.
Separately, the council approved Resolution 1752, authorizing a contract with STF LLC (doing business as a traffic control contractor) for the 2024 roadway striping program for a not-to-exceed amount of $36,550. Staff described the public procurement process and noted the bid was competitively opened.
Council also approved Resolution 1753, authorizing a contract with Gerstner Electric Inc. for installation of video detection equipment at the Magna Carta intersection, with a not-to-exceed amount of $37,120. Staff explained the recommendation included a $5,000 allowance for possible underground conduit work discovered during installation.
All votes recorded on these actions were unanimous. No appeals or recorded recusals were noted in the meeting record. The items will proceed to contract execution consistent with procurement policies.
