District certifies Division 22 compliance but pledges menstrual‑product dispensers by 2024–25

On Oct. 22 the Eagle Point School District 9 board certified its annual Division 22 compliance report to the community but identified one area of noncompliance under the menstrual‑dignity requirement.
Superintendent Kovach said the district’s Division 22 submission shows compliance across most standards, and that CLA reported compliance as well. However, the report notes the district has not installed feminine‑hygiene dispensers in all male restrooms K–12, which the report listed as out of compliance. The district’s corrective action states it will install dispensers in all male bathrooms K–12 by the end of the 2024–25 school year.
A board member moved to approve the Division 22 assurance form certifying that the district completed and presented its annual report to the community and is in compliance with applicable standards; the motion passed on a roll‑call vote.
Next steps: staff will carry out the corrective action plan to install dispensers and report progress to the board.
